Levi Cannon is a founding member and Co-Dance Director of Dance Central SA, bringing over 15 years of competitive and teaching experience in International Latin & Standard, as well as American Rhythm & Smooth.

South African National Champion (with Marijke Bezuidenhout). Levi is the Founder of the renowned “Power of Poise” teaching method, a structured approach that has transformed the technical foundation of countless dancers. Since 2024, he has also served as the Federation of Dance Sport Development Director.

Levi is deeply committed to raising the standard of dance in South Africa through disciplined training, mentorship, and strong community leadership. Alongside Marijke He co-hosts our coveted Technique Tuesdays and Amateur Hour Thursday classes, where dancers refine their skills in a focused and high-level training environment.

Marijke Bezuidenhout is Co-Dance Director at Dance Central SA, with over 20 years of experience in competitive and professional dance.

She is the current undefeated Professional Latin Champion (with Levi Cannon) and the Founder of the innovative “Sway Back Hip Technique for Dancers,” a technique that has elevated performance quality and technical precision for many competitive dancers. A passionate performer and dedicated teacher, Marijke is a respected public figure and influential voice within the South African dance community.

Alongside Levi, she co-hosts our highly sought-after Technique Tuesdays and Amateur Hour Thursday classes, where she continues to inspire dancers through refined technique, discipline, and artistry.
